This is a very late update on my 2015 Bridal collection. I have shared some sketches earlier this year, but here is the finished collection.

Haute Couture Evening/Wedding Gown
Okay, so I have been away for a bit… 6 months, I believe. But! I am back now! And here is my comeback. Haute Couture Evening Gown. I also have a blue and a burgundy colour option to share with you guys. Also you might notice there is no head… Well I started counting how long do I spend drawing my designs, and I realized I spend more than an hour and a half on average just on the face, so, no more heads! I seriously think it looks simple and lovely this way. If you guys disagree feel free to comment.

Bridal Design 2.0
OK, so I have been designing a lot of bridal wear lately, and this gown is basically a different version of the last one I uploaded.

“Now & Then” Haute Couture Gown
“Now & Then” is a black, chiffon and flower embroidered Haute Couture evening gown.
I first designed a very similar dress in 2011, when I was still new to Photoshop and despite the poor sketch, it became one of my favourite designs.
Around last September (2013) I started experimenting with retouching and Photoshop a lot more, which lead me to redesign many of my favourites, and change my sketching progress completely.
I have always used some kind of template to draw my outfits on, not only to save time, but to make sure that ‘my girls’ are all look the same in height and build, to ensure the tidiness in my portfolio.
So down below, is the original design, which looks different from the new in more than one ways, but is still the same style.
Haute Couture Dress
Originally this dress was meant to be orange or red, and it was inspired by images of fan dancing (mostly Spanish Flamenco Fan Dance). After I scanned the drawing for the touch up, I found it too colourful that way, and toned it down to what you see now.
Also, it looks quite oriental, and even though it wasn’t meant to be, I really like how it turned out. Lately I found a lot of interest in the Asian fashion, especially Chinese. My new favourite designer right now is; NE Tiger. He is an amazing designer, who designs a lot of Haute Couture collections. So if you are interested in Haute Couture or cultural designs, you should definitely check him out.

Yay! Finally, I had this blog for so long, I thought I reached it long ago! So here is a nice update for you guys, a redrawing of one of my favorite designs ever. The original was blue (LINK), and completely hand drawn, and this is almost completely digital.
